The Gunners to ease pass
the visitors
Unai Emery’s Arsenal had a performance to forget as
they spurned a two-goal lead against Watford in their last match against
Watford as their woeful defensive problems extended.
The gunners started the match on a front foot, and
star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got the two goal for the gunners. One
would have taught that more goals will be coming in after the interval, but it
wasn’t to be, as Watford outplayed Arsenal in the second period.
Former Lille attacker, Nicolas Pepe, is yet to hit
the ground running for the gunners who have kept a lot of faith in him by
breaking the bank to sign the Ivorian international.
Arsenal defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 to begin
their Europe League campaign as academy graduates Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka, who
is the youngest player to score for the gunners in European competition since
October 2008, when former player Aaron Ramsey scored against Turkish side
Fenerbahce, both scored for the Visitors before Aubameyang added his own to
ease past the hosts.
Arsenal picked up their very first European away
victory against German opposition since 2013 when they defeated Borussia
Dortmund in the Uefa Champions League.
Aston Villa on their own played a nil-nil draw
against the Hammers on Monday night, and the newly promoted side will be going
back to the championship should they fail to improve on their performance.
Villa is a team set up to attack and play an
expansive football, and they would want to try their luck against the gunners who
defensively, are receiving goals and look uncertain and balance at the back.
To be honest, Arsenal know if they are to contest
for the top 4, they need to be winning games like this in more convincing
fashion. Aubameyang will look at this fixture with plenty of interest, hoping to
add to his tally, for this reason, we feel an Arsenal Win and over 1.5 goals should be a brave choice. Good luck!
Final Pick: Arsenal
Win and over 1.5 goals
