Visitors will grind out result
Granada are really flying high as they have gathered back to
back victories in the league in as many matches, and the home side will be happy with their fine start and the beautiful performances they have gave in recent matches.
They silence Celta Vigo in front of their own fans the last
time out 2-0, even after two of their Players Fran Beltran and Jorge Sarenz saw
red, but they hold their own and got the maximum points.
Before the match against Celta Vigo, Granada got the better
of Espanyol 3-0 and drew 4-4 against Villareal, and currently, they are not playing
under any kind of pressure as they have gathered the same number of points with
Barcelona.
If Barcelona are to retain their La Liga title, they really
have to improve on their away form and performance as the Catalans have not
find so much joy on their travels.
Barcelona lost their opening La liga fixture against
Athletic Bilbao at the San mames stadium as veteran striker Aritz Aduriz came
on to score a last gasp bicycle kick goal to hand Barcelona a shock defeat.
Against Osasuna, the Catalans labored to go home with a single point as they
were unable to hold on to their lead, and the newly promoted side went home
with a point more to the delight of their fans.
Ansu Fati, a 16-years-old boy covered himself in glory and
comes with plenty of balance as he offers Barcelona a new application going
forward, and the lad seems to have won the heart of the fans in as many games.
Generally, Barcelona home form has been near perfect as they
have scored 10 goals in their last two home matches, 5-2 against Real Betic and
Valencia with the same scoreline.
The Hosts should be thankful to their goalkeeper Ter Stegen
who saved a penalty and Hat-trick of decent
saves, to deny Dortmund from winning, as the German continue to prove why
he should start ahead of Manuel Neuer.
Luis Suarez came on to replaced La Masia “jewel” Ansu Fati,
who scored a goal and an assist in the same game, against Valancia, and Suarez
scored a brace to announce his welcome.
Lionel Messi came on in the second interval against Borussia Dortmund in their Uefa Champions League
game opener, but lacked match fitness, and Barcelona will be happy to welcome
their captain back when they take on Granada even without left back Jordi Alba who
picked up an hamstring injury in the UCL.
Currently, Barcelona are still playing catch up against Sevilla in the league, but Barcelona should be able to grind out result against the newcomers.
Final Pick: Barcelona
to win
